Disable and Enable Notifications to Employees

You can easily manage employee notifications within Hero Schedule.


To disable notifications for an employee:

  1. Navigate to Menu > Setup > Employees.
  2. Select the employee you wish to modify.
  3. Check the option for Disable all notifications.
  4. Click Save.

To disable notifications for multiple employees:

  1. Navigate to Menu > Setup > Employees.
  2. Click on the Notifications option.
  3. Select the employees for whom you want to disable notifications by checking the box next to their name.
  4. Click on the option to Disable all selected notifications.

This is especially useful when you are first setting up Hero Schedule and your employees have not yet been invited. You can disable notifications for everyone to prevent them from receiving confusing schedule changes.


To enable notifications:

  1. Go to Menu > Setup > Employees.
  2. Click on Notifications.
  3. Select the employees for whom you want to enable notifications by checking the box next to their name.
  4. Click Re-enable notifications.

Once notifications are re-enabled, you can invite employees to Hero Schedule by selecting them and clicking on Invite, then Send. This will send them a welcome email. If an employee already has an account, this final step is not necessary.
